Lewis and Clark Commemorative Events & Happenings

October 1, 2011, from 5 - 11 pm:  - Lewis and Clark Falls of the Ohio  Discover the October constellations. 

October 2, 2011:  THE GREAT COLUMBIA CROSSING, Astoria, Oregon.  The longest continuous three-span through truss bridge in the world, the Astoria-Megler Bridge rises 205 feet above the river, offering a challenging incline as well as panoramic views of the the historic Astoria and Warrenton communities.

October 16 and 21, 2011, 6 PM - 10 PM: STAR PARTY at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Great Falls, Montana.  The Lewis and Clark expedition relied on celestial observation to chart their course.  Learn more about our night sky.

October 21, 22, 28, 29, 2011, 7 PM - 8 PM:  Voices in the Shadow at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Great Falls, MontanaEvery fall, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center offers "Voices in the Shadows." Come and hear from personalities of the past, as they step from the shadows to relate their stories to all who listen. Come for one of four performances.
