Horseback along the Lolo Trail in Idaho in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark Date: August 9 - 17, 2008 Length: 7 days/ 6 Nights Trip Rating: Moderate Adult: $1,925
DESCRIPTION: You will travel by horse along the last remaining section of the Lewis and Clark Trail preserved in its primitive natural state. Experience the identical terrain, campsites, weather, and exhilaration that Lewis and Clark recorded in their expedition journals. Horseback riding experience is not required and several stops are made during the day to stretch the legs, and view the country. Price includes all meals, camping and transportation from Sunday morning (August 12) to Saturday morning ( August 18). Other than sleeping bags, bring your personal belongings for the trip. All horses, vehicles, camping and cooking supplies are provided from arrival location. Price does not include transportation to Lewiston, Idaho or Saturday evening of arrival.
