Welcome to the Tri-Cities, Washington
Welcome to Tri-Cities - Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, Washington on the Lewis and Clark Trail
The Great Columbia River
The banks and river were filled with salmon,
the water crystal clear, and the sunlight glistened throughout the river country.

Leaving the canyons behind the Corps were
exuberantly welcomed into the Yakama and Wanapum communities.

Friendly exchanges of food and music were a precursor to the traditional council.

While Lewis and Clark observed and documented the culture of the village,
the natives were actively preparing for winter - fishing and drying
salmon.
